When you purchase they are packed in liquid.

Some brands may require enough rinsing or par-boiling as the water they are packaged in has an odor that may be unpleasant to those not accustomed to it.

Alternatively, the noodles can be drained and dry roasted. This gets rid of the bitterness. It also makes the noodles have a more pasta-like consistency.

Dry roasting is done by placing noodles in a non-stick skillet on high temperature for a minute or two or until you hear a slight squeaking noise when moving them around.

After that, they are readily added to soup stock or pasta-like noodles with your own favorite sauce added to them.

There is only one thing about that some consumers comments are about the unpleasant odor and the texture, for it comes from root vegetables, and are made by a process of fermentation. Supposedly that is where the smell comes from, which disappears after rinsing as directed.

  8. Glessa says:

Hi, I never had a flat belly after I had my C section. Your article is very educational. It is nice to know that there is still hope in losing belly fats after giving birth by natural means. Just wondering how they really taste like. Are they tasteless? I will try to find some in the grocery 🙂

    1. Hi Glessa,

Delivery on a c-section is crucial and delicate, after the delivery, there are things to consider, because it’s a surgical delivery procedure so it takes time to regain the body strength and to heal from the wound. Hard exercise is not recommended to lose those issues on weight and bellies after the delivery.

You can take natural healthy foods and slight exercises like walking and deep-breathing.

Shirataki noodles are tasteless like any other pasta, you can make it taste good with your favorite sauce, seasonings, and toppings of sauteed vegetables.
Yes, you can find in groceries and main stores and online.

I hope you enjoy your first try on Shirataki Noodles.

      Best regards,
      Lyn

    Thanks for the great review.

Sounds interesting…Is it similar to Ramin noodles? You mentioned that Shirataki noodles have a bitter taste unless you toast them. Did I get that right? Can I get these at my grocery store? I’m more interested in the Miracle rice. Growing up in a Spanish home, rice is the main staple. Does the rice come parboiled and does it have a flavor of its own?

    1. Hi Anne,
