A Japanese doctor Toshiki Fukutsudzi introduced a very simple method to lose belly fat and weight fast, which only needs a rolled towel as you lie down on it with a specific posture.

Losing weight is a strenuous task, you would agree?

After all, there so much to do, from dieting to exercising till you drop to shed off those extra kilos. Some of you choose to go through the daunting task of losing belly fat and weights through more and more physical exercises and rigorous dieting regimes, but there are some who choose fad diets and trends to burn calories such as (baby food diet and sleep diet). One of these trends that shook the internet more than a decade from now was the Japanese method of losing belly fats with a towel roll.

Yes, you read that right!

It was 15 years ago when I first see this procedure on the TV screen when I was having my afternoon nap. The doctor itself was instructing the methods. A Japanese doctor Toshiki Fukudsudzi was on the screen introducing a very simple method to lose belly fat, which only needs a rolled towel as you lie down on it with a specific posture.

So, if you haven’t heard or read about it, I ‘ll give you a slow down of how you can do it at home, without having to burn a hole in your pocket, or that is what the doctor claims.

Roll Over; Japanese Way of Losing Belly Fat

Doctor Fukutsudzi says that in order to create awareness amongst people about the side effects of having a bad posture, suggested a technique to help people combat (back problems) while strengthening their abdominal muscles. This kind of posture correction, according to Dr. Fukutsudzi, would also lead to belly and weight reduction.

Take out five minutes of your time every day to do this exercise.

Here’s what you need to do!
  1. First, you need a towel and roll it.
  2. Sit on the floor, with your legs stretched out in front of you such that there is a distance of 8 – 10 inches between both feet.
  3. Place the rolled towel behind your back.
  4. Lay down on the floor in a straight position with the towel placed under your waist.
  5. Post this, try to bring your toes close to each other while maintaining the distance between the heels.
  6. Basically, your feet should be positioned like a triangle pointing upwards. Keep your body in the same position.
  7. Next, lift your arms and take them over your head, almost touching the floors.
  8. Now, try to join your picky fingers. The stretch you want to achieve is now complete.
  9. Your body will almost be arched like an inverted boat. Stay in this position for about five minutes.
  10. You should feel a burning sensation and slight pain in the beginning which eases with practice.

Note: This may look easy, but holding it for a longer period can be a daunting task. Do it only till you are able to do it comfortably until practiced is enough.

It is noted that this exercise not only induces belly fat and weight loss but helps in effectively curing your back pain and further strengthening your abdomen.

 

The science behind it is that any extra layer of fat around the belly is basically a result of misplacement of your pelvis.

 

The exercise claims to correct the pelvis placement, which automatically results in a small waist.

    Losing belly fat is not easy to do. That is one of the areas not the easiest to target and get results right away but there are ways to do it.

    I have not heard of this method before and i find it very interesting. I can see this can be challenging and one of those exercises you have to work up to, but I like the fact that not only is it good for belly fat but it also is excellent for posture, which is very important and I find in many cases has to do with a lot of weight gain.

    Thanks for sharing the steps and video. Well worth adding this to my routine.

      Yes, that’s true belly fats is the hardest thing to do because it is connected to the abdominal tissue where the internal organs are almost located there.
      With a simple towel method with an appropriate posture, you will not only lose belly fat but also strengthen abdominal muscles and regain correct posture.

    This looks very interesting method of working on losing the belly fat. I’ve never heard of this before. It makes sense that to lose belly fat and to tighten the belly muscles is interconnected with our posture. So it also makes sense to work on tightening the belly muscles and refiguring our posture. This exercise looks quite simple to do and not too intense. It just needs to be done properly and practiced regularly in order for our posture to be corrected over time. I will be adding this to my daily routine and make sure I remember to do it. I’m looking forward to seeing results :). Fingers crossed. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Wow, I have never heard of this method! I will certainly give this a try, because I have some stubborn belly fat that will not go away! I am very fit, and am very good at cardio, but no matter what I do this bit of belly fat will not go away. I will certainly try this method, thank you for this article!

      This method was introduced by the Doctor himself on the television more than a decade now. And many Japanese people including me practice it and made as a part of my daily routine. I found it it’s working on me. People were talking about the method and it’s become popular since then.
