Motherhood is beautiful and full-filling to every woman’s life.

Although motherhood is beautiful and fulfilling of a woman’s life, most new mothers are also constantly anxious about the external changes of their body after pregnancy on how to get rid of belly fat hanging around the waist.

However, you need to give your body a break to heal after delivery especially if you have a cesarean. Forcing yourself to lose extra kilos after pregnancy can be harmful to your body and may cause unnecessary complications.

In my previous post, I have written foods and recipes perfect to lose those bellies likewise the excess weight you gained during pregnancy.

During those first initial months, you would see or observed that your stomach looks like a deflated ball with squint skin all over the belly or around your waist. No wonder. It has been stretching for over a long 9 months to adapt to the growth of your little child inside your womb. You might be eager to get back into your previous body shape as soon as possible.

The most thing that bothers you now be how to tightens loose skin after pregnancy that it takes a little dedication with a couple of rules that is totally doable.

I know what I’m talking about because I have been there twice. It was very frustrating for me to look down and see the sagged skin that once used to be a flat stomach. I was working hard to lose the pregnancy weight and the skin hanging on the lower part of the abdomen and around the waist.

However, it will need your support to acquire better recovery and speed up the rejuvenating process of your skin after pregnancy.

Three Factors to determine the ability of your skin to get back into its previous shape.

It is pretty much considered to the skin quality you inherit from your parents.

The way you treated your skin before and during the pregnancy.

  • Genetics
  • Collagen
  • Elastics

Genetics – It’s pretty much considered to the skin quality you inherit from your parents.

Let’s face it. Sometimes it is just over or hands. You can try out all the trick out there to avoid that saggy skin as scratch marks but you still end up having them.

Rather, that friend who has had 3 children or more and her belly would be like she has never been pregnant? I bet her mother looked the same.

You have to be prepared to fight those flaws by all means available and not giving in. Take for example in my case.

I always thought my belly will be covered with stretch and scratch marks after the pregnancy as my mother has them too. I’ve learned that she has scratch and stretch marks all over her belly buttocks and waist. So I prepared my self that my belly will meet the same fate, but at the same time, I was determined not to give up and try my best to avoid them. In my twice pregnancy the scratch and stretch of the skin were mild though I made the prevention and precautions.

Collagen – High protein foods, nuts, aloe vera, Algae, fruits high in Vitamin C are a great source of collagen and it is also advisable to have some supplements on collagen to help the sagging belly back to normal.

The good news about collagen is that you can easily boost its level by eating foods that stimulate the body to increase collagen production. The amazing thing about collagen is that the more your body has, the more it is able to produce and preserve.

Nourish your body and skin with collagen both from the inside and the outside. There are amazing supplements that promote healthy collagen to your body. I recommend and my favorite (Collagen Peptide Powder with Amino Acids) – which is pure hydrolyzed and unflavored that means you can add to your smoothies and favorite drinks.

You will amaze your healthy and shiny hair and nail for it helps in the maintenance of your hair and depleted nails. Aside from getting collagen into your body, you can try applying it to your skin. There are plenty of collagen lotion and serums available that can help to improve the appearance of your skin. I have also used (Honeydew Best Scars Cream for Face and Body – Vitamin E oil for skin after surgery, as well as s Stretch Marks Remover) and mind you, it leaves my skin amazingly plump and smooth. I absolutely love it.

Elastics – There are many ways how you can improve skin elasticity. The most common is hydration. Water intake is an important role in maintaining the skin’s natural properties. Water maintains the elasticity of your skin and able to return to the previous shape.

Apart from improving your skin condition, staying hydrated will help you to burn calories more effectively and reduce water retention in the abdominal area.

In addition to water intake, you can also improve the appearance of your skin by applying lotion or oil. Aim for a skincare product that contains collagen, vitamin A, C, E.

Massage them into the skin with circular movement at least once a day. Ideally after the shower.

Three Useful Tips to get rid of hanging belly after c-section or natural birth.

1. Exercise your core – Building muscles is an important part of the skin tightening process. Building up a lean muscle underneath the loose skin helps to burn excess stomach fat and tone up the belly area which eventually leads to tightens, smoother looking skin.

There are two layers of tissue underneath the skin, fat, and muscles. Both of them press-up against the skin and keeps it. Strong core muscles fill in the looseness in the skin, creating a visibly tighter appearance. Try to squeeze in some extra core exercise whenever you can.

2. Wear Girdle or Slimming pants – It gives you great support, helps the abdominal muscles to regain strength and return to its normal size faster. It is not a miracle device though.

Girdle won’t make you lose weight or fat, but it definitely supports your core and can provide you with extra self-confident. With girdle, you can wear your favorite dress without feeling anxious. Most girdles are safe to wear all-day-long, but you may want to take off during your sleeping time.

3. Eat healthy foods and good for lactating.

  • High in protein foods- low calories are lean meat, fish, tofu, and beans.
  • Carbohydrates – I recommend a bowl of whole-grain rice, it is high of fiber and good for dieting.
  • Vitamins and Minerals – Vegetables and fruits with the color of the rainbow are perfect for a healthy diet likewise green leafy vegetables are rich in vitamins like spinach, green lettuce, kale, and broccoli.
  • Minerals – Try soy milk, wakame seaweeds, they are rich in minerals and calcium and also vitamins.

Here are some natural supplements to help you get rid of extra weight and bellies.
